There’s a classic scene from one of the best movies of all time.
In “The Terminator” (the original one), Kyle Reese, who was sent back in time to protect Sarah Connor, has a little dialogue with her where he’s trying to explain the gravity of the threat and danger she’s in.
Kyle Reese: “Listen, and understand! That Terminator is out there! It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop… ever, until you are dead!”
Sarah Connor: “Can you stop it?”
Kyle Reese: “I don’t know. With these weapons? I don’t know.”
Most people never realize this, but the fantastic movie, “The Terminator,” is not really just about AI.
It’s also a phenomenal metaphor for the implacability of the nafs.
If you were to think of your nafs like the Terminator that’s out to get you, you wouldn’t be too far off the truth.
It’s a constant form of resistance that’s trying to sabotage you at every turn and stop you from self-actualizing.
And Sarah Connor asked the right question: “Can you stop it?”
And Kyle Reese gave the right answer: “With these weapons, I don’t know.”
The same is true for you and your battle against your lowest self: the nafs.
Your ability to win the fight, which must take place every time and every place, comes down to the weapons you’re bringing to the fight.
- If you don’t have the ability to become fully present at will and give yourself a taste of inner peace whenever you want…
- If you don’t know how specifically to deal with, fully process, and let go of the big negative feelings…
- If you don’t know the real meaning of surrendering to Allah’s will and how to do it in real-time…
- If you’ve never heard of The Psychological switch, let alone know the relevance it has for your life…
- If you’ve never experienced true self-realization…
- If you’re unsure how a person aligns their will with Allah’s will…
- If you don’t know the Shields Up technique or the ABC Method of state control…
It’s like trying to bring a water gun to a fight against The Terminator Cyberdyne Systems Model 101, played by the one and only Arnold SchwarrjrnzznzeslneiobgausjR.
You don’t stand a chance.
Poor John Connor will never be born or lead the resistance.
Humanity is doomed.
Palantir Cyberdyne wins.
If you want to give humanity a bit of hope and your own soul a chance of fulfilling its true purpose, here’s where we keep all the weapons:
