After explaining “Why Atheism Is Irrational” in yesterday’s article, there have been a few questions as to who should join my new coaching program “The Spiritual Switch”.
It’s clearly not for everyone.
In fact, you definitely shouldn’t join this programme if you…
- Are a hardcore atheist who looks down on and ridicules anyone who believes that God exists… and/ or were deeply offended by my recent article on “Why atheism is irrational”. (If you’re an atheist, but are open to exploring spirituality from different perspectives, then you’re most welcome to join).
- Anyone who is extremely attached to their current way of thinking – because we’re definitely going to shake it up… in a really good way that has lead many to major personal transformation. But, if you’re determined to stubbornly stick to what you think you know about the mind, psychology, and thought – even when it’s wrong – then you’re best off not joining.
- If you’re NOT open to the possibility that spontaneous and permanent personal change is even possible. If you’re certain it’s not possible, it almost certainly won’t happen for you – which won’t make for a great success story. I’m hoping for 33 phenomenal success stories of people’s lives changing for the better, which is pretty normal for people who go through my coaching programs – as long as you start with a clear mind, open to the possibilities.
- If you hate the religion of Islam and think you’ll get annoyed every time I mentioned “Allah”, or say “Peace and blessings upon him” every time I mention the name of the Prophet Muhammad. Peace and blessings be upon him. (On the other hand, if you’re not Muslim but are open to receiving wisdom from any source, especially sources not easily accessible in the West, then you’re going to absolutely love this…!)
- If you think you already know everything there is to know about Islam and you’ll get frustrated being taught about spirituality by someone who knows less than you. (If, on the other hand, you know a lot about Islam and keep an open mind, I can all-but-guarantee that the “Spiritual Switch” will be deeply enriching for the path you’re on).
- If you’re looking for a ‘Sheikh’ or ‘Guru’ to blindly follow and tell you what you should do with your life and don’t realise God gave you the wisdom and intelligence to know the truth clearly for yourself when you hear it. (If you’re on a true spiritual path and are looking for a true ‘Sheikh’, and are clear that I’m not one of them, but that I may be a source of support for you from a different perspective, as a professional coach… then you’re cool to join).
Ultimately, “The Spiritual Switch” will be of immense benefit to anyone who’s open minded and is okay with me using Islamic quotes, references and metaphors to highlight certain with points of universal wisdom… and anyone who genuinely wants to connect with Allah and improve their life and knows, on some level, that a deeper understanding of how your mind works, may have the potential to lead you there.
