The best ever 'Islamic' chat up line…

by Mamoon Yusaf

Assalam Alaikum,
Now that I’m safely married to the woman Allah, the Most Generous, destined for me… as a show of gratitude, today I’m going to talk about something that a lot of married people quickly forget: what to do if you’re single and are actually ready to find love & get married.
Of course, that all starts with the first meeting & conversation you have with a potential. And that all starts with the first line you use.
(By the way, if you’re not single, I recommend you use this line with your spouse too. And then forward this email to a friend or relative who is actually single & is looking to be married.)
Here are some brilliant benefits of this opener & why I consider it to be the best ‘chat up’ line ever:

  • It works whether you’re a man or woman, and can instantly ease the tension & make conversation flow.
  • It’s the very first thing I recommend any Muslim man say when he sees a woman he likes, to break the ice and increase the chance she feels comfortable around you (although women can use it too).
  • It instantly removes the awkwardness around interaction that can show up in certain Muslim environments (…and everyone around really appreciates it every time, even the super-externally-religious types).
  • It’s very respectful and endearing and works with virtually every type of person, no matter their level of religiosity.
  • If a guy uses it correctly, it shows leadership, humility and authentic confidence and if a woman uses it, it’s a clear sign she’s approachable, while avoiding any desperate/needy energy.
  • It works with anyone from anywhere in the Muslim world – which narrows down your prospects to around a billion people.
  • Best of all, this conversation-starter is actually Sunnah!

Are you ready…? Have you guessed it yet?
Here’s a hint: I already used it earlier in this email.
The best conversation-opening line ever used with a Muslim is…
“Assalam Alaikum Firstname”
What?! That’s so silly? Is that it?!
Yes, that is it. Yes, it is simple. And Yes, it works like a charm every time. And, the best part is, the person you direct it to is actually religiously obliged to reply.
Here’s why it works:
If a guy uses a complex opening ‘chat up line’ or attempts a rehearsed joke or something, it looks seedy, disrespectful, desperate… and even if he pulls it off, he comes across like a player (which gets you instant shut-down from a Muslim woman actually looking for marriage).
But, this line is appreciated by every one. In fact, it’s a prayer! How can anyone not like you making a prayer for them…?!
“May Peace (Allah) be with you”
However, for this line to work, 2 things are required:

  1. Solid, unbreakable confidence
  2. Knowing where to go from there

And to gain both of these, I have a training specifically for women, and in the future we’ll create one for men too, insha’Allah.
It’s called “Meet Him & Marry Him” and it’s part of The Ocean.
There is a 3rd thing you obviously need too:
Somewhere you can actually meet & talk with awesome people in a natural environment. Ideally, a place where the focus isn’t marriage (to avoid awkwardness & the “prove to me your good marriage material right now” vibe.) And, somewhere that will attract cool, conscious, spiritually inclined people, where you can meet friends and where your personal growth is guaranteed.
Somewhere like here, perhaps:
The Paradigm Shift.
If you sign up to The Ocean today with the link above, you’ll get access to the event AND the Meet Him & Marry Him program (which used to sell for £497!).
Just make sure you give me & my Mrs. an invite to your wedding when it works insha’Allah.
Peace, Love & Blessings.
