Tonight, I’m going to take people through a simple thought experiment that can have a shocking awakening effect on anyone who does it.
We take a common every day experience, then instead of looking at it the common way we’re all used to, we take a radically different perspective.
We view the event through the ‘eyes’ of the True Self.
The “True Self” isn’t some fantasy about how you think you ‘should’ be, or who you want to be. It’s the ‘you’ that you always have been and always will be. It’s the pure light of consciousness that Allah put into your body while you were still in your mother’s womb.
That part of you is still there and hasn’t gone anywhere.
What most people never realise, is that deepening your awareness of your True Self has a radical healing effect on negative thoughts, feelings and emotions.
And it results in a deep feeling of spiritual connection with Allah (swt) – after all, it’s the purest part of you that has always been deeply connected with Allah.
To experience this radical psycho-spiritual awakening for yourself, along with the joy and inner-peace it can bring, watch Module 5 of The Nafs Mastery Program. To see all the details and receive your invite to the program, first take the Nafs Assessment here:
