Earlier today I was teaching the Ocean Live session on The Ramadan Transformation (when you join The Ocean you get a new course each month, taught live).
When I wrapped up to take questions, one of my coaching clients shared that on this plan they had already shed 7kg (over 15 pounds) of body weight since the start of Ramadan!
Context:
I’ve been teaching “The Ramadan Challenge” where you thrive each night on just 800kcal of nutritious, delicious food, instead of gorging yourself on sweets and fried, fatty foods. It’s relatively easy to do because the feeding window during Ramadan is so small anyway – you just eat a couple of healthy meals instead of unhealthy ones.
Shahid, a member of The Ocean, took the challenge seriously and decided he would be among those who completely change their lives this month.
8 days in and he’s already lost more weight than I probably will over the entire month!
During today’s session I was sharing how heavier people lose more weight faster and a higher proportion of it is body fat. Lighter people who are already lean still get great results, but not quite as dramatic. After sharing his results he quipped, “I must have been one of the heavier ones”
