It’s that time of year again, when the clocks go forward and it just became one whole hour easier to make the pre-dawn prayer of Fajr.
So, if you’re not already, now is a great time to gently start getting yourself back into the habit of arising early in the morning, making the Fajr prayer and doing an uplifting, energizing, spiritually nourishing ritual before you start your day.
For me, this involves a very particular sequence of activities, modelled on the example of the Prophet, peace & blessings upon him, and in alignment with my personal development goals.
Over the next few days, I’m going to detail that ritual for you and give you some of my best tips on how to make the most of the best part of the day.
This will be essential reading if you don’t currently wake up for Fajr, or if you wake up like a zombie, then crawl straight back into bed, or if you’re a full-on night-owl and don’t know how to become an early riser. Above all, the upcoming sequence of emails will be of immense value if you want a gentle reminder as to the purpose of life and how to re-set your direction towards the divine.
Here are some of the upcoming topics for our next few daily inspirational emails, that will hopefully inspire you to make the most out of every day:
- The purpose of life. (aka. What’s even the point in getting out of bed?)
- A daily structure for the spiritual seeker (…even if she has a 9-5)
- How to wake up for Fajr.
- How to become an early-riser (…even if you’ve always been a night-owl).
- How to re-wire your brain to wake up with energy and gratitude.
- Your Morning Success Ritual – How to make the most of the best part of the day.
- How to not beat yourself up when you mess up.
If you want to skip straight to the good stuff & get an in-depth, comprehensive training covering all the above and much more on how to be productive from Fajr, then you might like my program, cleverly titled: Productive From Fajr.
It’s currently available as part of The Ocean, which you can join here.
