Bouncing out of bed with energy and implementing the Fajr Success Ritual is a great way to start your day. But if you want to fully energize your day, there’s more to it.
You need 3 things:
- The Fajr Success Ritual
- Intelligently scheduled focus sessions for your most important work.
- Breaks at the right times, intentionally designed to re-energize you
How do you do that re-energizing ritual?
For me, it often involves prayer. Sometimes quiet-minded Zikr. Sometimes the Inner Salaam Method meditation.
And sometimes – it’s a three-minute energizing dance break.
Or more likely shadowboxing while pretending to be Bruce Lee.
Yep. I know I’m a total weirdo. But it works.
Jumping up and down, moving your body, shaking off the cobwebs – this makes you far more productive than just sitting at your desk, trying to grind through for hours on end.
It’s totally unhealthy to sit in front of a computer for eight hours straight.
Between focus sessions, you want to get up, stretch, do some press-ups, jumping jacks, yoga, tai chi (one of my go-to favourites!) – whatever gets your brain and body re-engaged.
Then, when you sit back down, you’ll feel 100 times more energized, fresh, and ready to go.
If you want the complete system of how I keep myself productive all day long – from Fajr onwards – you’re going to love the Productive From Fajr program.
