Your Optimal Spouse

by Mamoon Yusaf

I’ve got some good news for you, your optimal partner in life is alive today.

They’re on a journey just like you. They’re walking around somewhere – they may even live around the corner from you.

And the truth is, they’re searching for you everywhere.

However, you might miss them.

They might be at the grocery store, but your headphones are on and you were looking down so you walked right by them. Or you might have both gone to the same event and even caught each others eye there, but you were too insecure to make the next move so you lost them, and never saw them again.

It may or may not be in your destiny for you to find and live with your optimal spouse.

And that’s okay.

There are millions of runners up you’d have a pretty happy life with. But here’s the key and here’s the point I’m making…

…It is no extra effort whatsoever for Allah, the Infinite Power behind life, the All-Powerful Source of the universe, to marry you to your absolute optimal spouse on planet earth, instead of marrying you to someone else.

So my best possible advice for you is: if you’re looking for a spouse, don’t just pray for marriage. Pray that Allah guides you to Meet and Marry The #1 most optimal spouse for you; and the person for whom you are also the most optimal spouse.

Not only is it very likely to occur that way, if you use the prophetic advice around prayer… but it’s also an absolute blessing when you finally get to meet them and marry them.

Rachida and I did the same prayer to meet our optimal spouse during the same Ramadan a few years.

And a couple of months later, we randomly met in Portugal at an event.

Here’s the thing, neither of us are Portuguese. She’s a Dutch-Moroccan and I’m a British-Pakistani. There’s nothing to say our paths would ever have crossed again, had we not met at that event and not been open to talking.

Fortunately, we did meet. We were open to talking. And we were both serious about marriage. And most importantly… we hit it off right away.
