How to make “Mr. Right” notice you

by Mamoon Yusaf

There’s a question a Muslim woman can ask a man that immediately makes it clear that he’s safe to approach her, without her taking up the ‘masculine’ position of chasing or giving off the wrong (too eager) vibe.

It’s a genius strategy I learned from one of the world’s leading relationship coaches when she interviewed me the other day.

The problem a lot of young Muslims who are looking to get married have is simply:

Technology.

Apps. Websites. Online Marriage groups.

You name it, they’ve tried it and been burned so many times it feels totally pointless trying to keep going.

Well, as the coach pointed out to me when we talked…

People have been marrying and mating for thousands of years before they invented Muzz Match.

There’s a big world out there and when you become comfortable meeting people, organically in the real-world, you probably won’t ever need to look at a marriage app or website ever again.

I’ll be honest:

If you’re a guy, this is super easy.

You just see an attractive woman, make eye contact and if she smiles, you’ve got permission to approach and say ‘salam’. (If you want advice on how to go from Salam to Soulmate – watch the Roadmap training for single Muslims I created, carefully hidden somewhere on my website).

However, if you’re a single woman, it’s usually not a great idea to go over to a man and start chatting him up. It sets the wrong precedent. It’s unclear whether he really likes you, or whether he’s just responding because you’re giving him an easy ‘yes’.

To solve this quandary, I asked Michelle Marchant Johnson (the leading relationship coach I mentioned above) and she shared a genius strategy that a woman can use that breaks the ice, without coming on too strong – and keeps her safely in her ‘feminine’ role.

In fact, it makes the guy notice her and tap into deep psychological triggers that say:

“She’s a good one. In fact, I want a wife just like that.”

It’s all explained during this interview in the “My Next Chapter” summit. Big-time relationship coaches like Dr. John Gray (the “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus” guy) and many other relationship ‘gurus’ (including yours truly) are featured.

But, I’ll be honest: the biggest gems from my interview were when I turned it around and started asking Michelle questions.

Including: the exact question a woman can ask a man that ‘taps into’ his natural chivalry and puts him in the perfect position to ‘take charge’ of the relationship from then on.
